Pujas for Mipham Rinpoche

The pujas at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI) commenced on 30 December 2025, a day after the arrival of the Kudung of His Eminence the 3rd Jamgon Ju Mipham Namgyal Gyatso Tshojung Gyepe Dorje.

They will continue until the completion of the traditional 49-day period, in the presence of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, and many other eminent Rinpoches and spiritual masters.

Karmapa encourages all of his students over the world to connect themselves with the blessing of this exceptional time by devoting themselves to the practice of Guru Yoga, as well as the recitation of the seven-line prayer and mantra of Guru Rinpoche.

The sacred cremation ceremony will be held on 10 February, and all students who wish to use this opportunity to pay their final respects to the late Mipham Rinpoche are welcome to attend.
