The Yoshkar-Ola Diamond Way Buddhist Center was founded in 1999 by Lama Ole Nydahl. It belongs to the Karma Kagyu tradition and is under the spiritual guidance of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa.
