Porto Alegre Diamond Way Buddhist Center
A lay Buddhist center founded by Lama Ole Nydahl. We are under the spiritual guidance of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa. The center was founded in 2001. Lama Ole has visited us several times, together with his (late) wife Hannah Nydahl, and has asked many Diamond Way teachers to come and give lectures. Nowadays, we receive about five teachers a year.
We have a live-in center, and we open for the meditation on the 16th Karmapa four times a week.
