Martha’s Vineyard Bodhi Path Buddhist Center
The 14th Shamar Rinpoche founded the Martha's Vineyard Bodhi Path Buddhist Center in 1999. The present location in West Tisbury is a few miles from the beach, in a quiet, wooded area. Our meditation hall provides a peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful space for group and individual Dharma activity. Our weekly schedule offers three meditation sessions year round. When our resident teacher Lama Yeshe Drolma is present she offers guided meditation instruction twice weekly and weekly Dharma teachings (usually in August and September). We also often have visiting teachers and Rinpoches from the Bodhi Path network visit and teach.
