Opole Diamond Way Buddhist Center

The Opole Diamond Way Buddhist Center was founded in 1987 on behalf of and with the blessing of Lama Ole Nydahl. In our new location, where we have been since 2005, the sangha consists of about 108 people. We do 16th Karmapa meditations every day, including 3 times a week open to the public. Many people perform their individual meditations on a daily basis: Ngondro and 8th Karmapa Guru Yoga.
We organise meditation courses at least once a month with Diamond Way Teachers and a couple of times a year events for the public. We actively work with the local University and museums. In 2010 Lama Ole Nydahl was invited to teach during the so called "golden lectures" at Opole University.
The center is situated on an island in the most beautiful, central part of the city, 5 minutes walk from the main square and City Hall.
