The Metepec Diamond Way Buddhist Center started in 2006 with the blessing of Lama Ole Nydahl, who, two years later, in 2008 came to visit and to inaugurate the place. There was an important development of our activity together with many friends that came to help and to practice through the years. In 2015 Lama Ole Nydahl came again to bless our new place, he gave refuge to many friends and performed the wedding of seven couples, he gave teachings as well. During these years, we have had the visits and the teachings of several Diamond Way teachers. We get together to meditate three times per week, we have mala workshops often. And we had once the statue filling course with Dagmar Begin, where we filled 24 personal and center statues.
