Kassel Diamond Way Buddhist Center

The Kassel Diamond Way Buddhist Center belongs to the non-profit organization of Diamond Way Centers in Germany. Our group emerged in 1993 after the first major course with Lama Ole Nydahl on "Conscious Dying". We work together voluntarily on the basis of friendship and self-responsibility.

The center is the first point of contact for people who want to know about Buddhism and get explanations about meditation. It's also the place where the local Buddhist practitioners meet to meditate, socialize and take part in the center's activities.
We offer 3 x weekly guided meditations in German - without pre-registration and free of charge.
Several times a year, we also offer lecture weekends with experienced Buddhist teachers.
Upon request, school classes can visit our center and once a year we invite interested people to an open day.
A special event is the meditation course at Easter with Lama Ole Nydahl in the Kassel fair halls, where our Buddhist Center is also involved. Every year several thousand Buddhists from Germany and many other countries meet there.
