Bordo Bodhi Path Retreat Center Karma Dechen Yangtse
Founded in 1982 in an ancient mountain village, this Buddhist community has a meditation room, stupa, retreat house, two lecture rooms and accommodation possibilities for up to 60 people. Activities and courses run from spring to autumn, and retreats for seasoned practitioners are sometimes also possible in winter.
The center is under the guidance of Shamar Rinpoche and Jigme Rinpoche. It has been visited by Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Shamar Rinpoche, Jigme Rinpoche, Gendun Rinpoche, Kalu Rinpoche, Lama Teunsang and many others.
The center has been recommended strongly by Shamar Rinpoche as a powerful retreat place.
