Berlin Diamond Way Buddhist Center
His Holiness the 16th Karmapa visited Berlin in 1977 and gave a Black Crown Ceremony. Since then gradually a meditation group was built up. On behalf of Lama Ole Nydahl the group founded Karma Chö Ling e.V. in 1992. In 1999 Karma Chö Ling e.V. was renamend to Buddhist Center Berlin of the Karma Kagyu Lineage e.V. It has been visited by high lamas of the Karma Kagyu lineage, such as Shamar Rinpoche, Jigme Rinpoche, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche.
