I ask all of my students, and indeed Buddhists all around the world, to utilise this auspicious occasion to bring India to their hearts. For Buddhists, India has given us so much. With the limitless compassion of a loving mother, India gave birth to Buddhism. This noble land’s culture, diversity, history – in short, her Inner Wealth – bring the whole world an abundance of treasures.”
