Public teachings by Karmapa

From 14-19 March 2016, Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, will lead a series of public teachings and empowerments at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI), New Delhi, India.

In his teachings, Karmapa will continue his commentary on Shantideva’s 8th century Bodhisattvacharyāvatāra (‘The Way of the Bodhisattva’), a beautiful, soaring work that permeates poetic wisdom about the path to enlightenment. Karmapa will also bestow the empowerment of Amitayus, the Buddha of Limitless Life, and the empowerment of Manjusri, the Buddha of Wisdom.

Professor Sempa Dorje, Khenpo Lobsang and Khenpo Tsering will also be teaching.
