On the 29th of May, His Holiness Karmapa spent the majority of the day meeting one on one with the people of Singapore, and many travelers from abroad, who had assembled to participate in the week long program organized by the Karma Kagyu Dharma Centre of Singapore.

In the evening, the Karmapa gave the Marpa Initiation to another packed audience. His Holiness Karmapa began the Initiation with a brief explanation of who Marpa Lotsawa was, the purpose of Guru Yoga and what a teacher really is.
